Before I even got
engaged, I knew that my pictures would be the most important purchase I made
for my wedding day.
After Matt proposed,
we looked at several of the best studios in the area, only to be disappointed
with the mundane pictures that we saw there. It was by chance that we
stumbled upon Kent’s
website. The pictures on his site showed much more promise than the other
photographers’, so I set up an appointment with him.
Kent blew me away – his
pictures were phenomenal; they were beautiful and interesting all at
once. Even more important to me, however, was that he genuinely wanted us
to have the best pictures we could – a far cry from the other photographers who
were just interested in getting our money. I showed him my mother’s
wedding album, which has pictures with double exposures, and Kent simply said, “I can do
whatever you want.” I knew then that I had found our wedding photographer.
Our engagement picture
session only confirmed that we had made the right decision. Matt and I
walked into Kent’s
house expecting some simple studio shots, nothing fancy. Kent ended up spending over an hour
of his day, getting loads of wonderful pictures of us, and we had a blast.
We just finally
finished looking over our 900+ wedding proofs, and we couldn’t be
happier. Kent and Rachael captured all of our most important moments of
that day. The pictures were so beautiful and telling, that we felt as if
we were reliving the day as we flipped through the album.
We never imagined that
in looking for a wedding photographer, we would find someone who cared so much
about his work and the job he did for us. Thanks to Kent, we now have pictures that
someday our children may take to their wedding photographer.
Kent, you’re now stuck
with us as our family photographer for life!
